Beardie not eating/pattern

This morning I noticed my beardie is not eating very much.. I always feed him about 15 minutes after we both have woken up and he eats about 10 crickets. This morning he only ate 3 crickets and seems uninterested. I also noticed this new pattern on his stomach that has not been there before. I have had him for 4 months now since he was a hatchling and I have never seen it. Is this normal? I just want to make sure he is not sick or anything because it is very unlike him to not eat immediately.

The pattern is natural and it darkens when they darken due to mood or just to bask. Their appetite will also vary. My guess is that he's OK but just going through a phase. Something may have him irritated like a shed or similar. Keep offering food on the normal schedule and he will probably go back to his normal habits soon.
