The only thing that sounds like it might be wrong is the wood chips. They can kill a dragon. Temps sound good, UVB sounds good, Diet sounds good, So you might try some calcium and vitamons. Maybe he is lacking in that department so he is sluggish. How often do you bath him. I would soak him every day for a bit and hopefully that woud stimulate his bowels. I think the key is to get him to poop at least every other day.

Gaining weight and not eating is not a good sign. Treating thyroid without the correct bloodwork is also not good. I, myself have thyroid issues and have to have bloodwork every three months for T4 and T3 levels as I take two kinds of thyroid meds. You may want to have an xray to see if your dragon is retaining or making more body fluids. A hint: have them do a side view xray as it will show more than a top view. I have a dragon that is producing more body fluids than should be and he is going into the vet tomorrow for the second set of xrays. I thought my boy was chubby weighing in at 648 grams but he has absolutely no fat around the abdomen just on the tail base and head but his stomach is huge due to fluids.

hi, it was bad news actually, as you can imagine im not really wanting to talk about it. the blood results showed his potassium levels are really low, and the acids in him arnt as they should be, he is still at the vet being treated. we are not sure if he is going to be ok, have to see how he responds to his treatment, im praying for him anyway

So, he's still at the vets then or did you bring him home & have to take him back for a recheck? How is he doing now, any change? We are all hoping he will improve very soon and that you can get some answers.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
