Beardie lacking love

Hello Nokie has been fine but she doesn't really like me its more that she tolerates me instead of liking me like she will let me pick her up and stuff but I would really like her to crawl on my hand is there anyway that I can teach her to do this or make her want to? she is 13 1/2 inches and when she is on the ground she will run really fast away from me if i try to grab her (well more like scoop). and is there anything I can do to make her or encourage her to think of me a something that she likes? So she will want to be around me?

If she is on the ground, and you stand over her, that will freak her out. They tend to not like things that come over the top of them. Their instincts tell them they are going to be eaten. Maybe try getting down to her level. Mine is about the same size as yours. He's almost 4 months. He likes to explore things around the room. He will climb on me before any of the rest of the family. It's because he associates me with food! I am always the one who feeds him. I will feed him worms out of my hand at times. So, maybe get her to associate you with food.

I used to use tongs to feed her roaches and have lately just been letting roaches crawl on my hand and her eating them but now she starts to look at my finger follow it stick out her tongue a little bit like she always does before she eats things and I really want her to want to be with me and to climb on my hand but I just don't know how to teach her to do that.

I actually place the worms in my palm as to not get fingers chomped. Probably should have mentioned that. Sorry. In my opinion, even though we love them, they really want to be with us only because we meet their needs. They are solitary creatures. They will snuggle with us to keep warm. They know we give them food, ect. She will want to be with you more, the more she realizes you meet her needs.
