Beardie just pooped on me.

There i was sitting watching Prison Break with Omar on my knee and at first i see the white urates, then the full blown poop :shock: :shock: :shock: . Maybe he did not like the acting on the show, or maybe he was voicing his opinion on me. He is 3 and a half months old, tell me that when they get older they are more choosy where they go poopy.

Mine did that just the other day!
Was watching Tv and I felt baby's whole body tense...then the legs went apart and off she went. All down my top and it splurted on to my jeans.
It smells soooo bad! luck baby is so cute!

My girl did that the first while i had her! She doesn't do it much now but i can always tell cos she lifts her tail up and i run and get kitchen towels! Although bout 3 weeks ago she pooped on my bed, YUCK! and it smelss soooo bad.

And dragon poop smells so HORRIBLE!!!!! I've tried and tried to get Kookie trained to go in the tub but, so far, no luck. He's six months old and has pooed in the tub once, even though he gets a bath every day. I've even tried waiting until he starts pacing around his cage like he's getting ready, grab him and run to the tub, let him stay for 20 minutes with no luck. But let me put him on the carpet to run around and, if he hasn't pooed yet, he'll go every time!! :?

warm water... when I started doing it, it could sometimes take 20-30 minutes before he would go... that and the running water trick seems to work... in our tub we get it to his shoulders and let him go.

sometimes he'll decide on an nice jaunt in the pool and do laps for 20min... sometimes he'll only be in there for 15 seconds before he poops and wants out.

you just have to get them used to the idea that it's the place where they poop. Or... you can paper train them, I'm told.

That's exactly what I do with Spyro, as soon as I get him out he has a quick bath and doesn't come out until he's done something. Like you said...a good was to control his poop cycle and also a great way to keep his viv clean...not to mention my sofa/couch or wherever he's exploring at the time

Loki went through a phase where everytime I took her out of the tank, she would run and poo on my couch! She would stare at me the whole time, too, like she was thinking "here's what I think of your silly new couch!"

Yeah, she doesn't come out anymore unless she's already poo'd that day ...

Paper training does work, it just takes a lot of time, patience and disinfectant!
Kyle's getting pretty good at it nowadays - she was roaming free in the bedroom when we discovered a smell... Normally she gets popped in the top of the wastepaper bin on a bit of tissue and she remembered on her own. Because she couldn't get UP the bin, she found a tissue by the side of the bin and went there. I was very pleased with her! Although it was rancid and huge...

Mind you, the cheeky madam did hold back on me - she waited until my partner stopped paying attention to her, hopped up on his foot and did a nice white streak down the middle of his sock.
