Sorry, posted in wrong category at first. My beardie Ouroboros just suddenly started running around her enclosure and went to the corner and scratched at the glass, and is generally just running around. I presume this is a sign she wants to run around a bigger area, but I am afraid if I take her out she will squirm away and I might lose her in my house. She is about 2-3 months old, so still fits in the palm of my hand (though she has quite a lengthy tail) I am thinking about letting her run around in the bath tub with some warm water, and I also have a lizard harness that is just BARELY too big for her. It fits her snugly but she can still wiggle her arms out of it. Is it safe to take her out for a bit?

Yeah you can let her run around. Just put her in a room that is safe with no other animals or vents to fall into or heavy things to fall on her etc. If you're worried about her hiding you could tie a bright piece of string around her tail or at her waist just above her legs.

I do have a harness for her, but she is able to slip out of it pretty easily. It's also a pain to get her into it in the first place. I will try the string though! The room I want to let her run around in has a lot of hidey holes and places to get lost, which is why im worried

The harnesses can be pretty stressful, especially the ones that go across the chest. I stopped using them after a while completely and some on here have switched to the hip harness as they're less stressful and intrusive. The string around the tail will probably be enough to find a hiding dragon but just keep a close eye on her to make sure it doesn't slip or get caught around anything.

Yea I might try the string! I am just really worried she will get caught up in a radiator or something bizarre like that, the house I live in is really old and has a lot of out dated living luxuries, like in wall radiators, a fire place and we have a ton of furniture since there are 4 of us that all had furniture that got confined to one house xP

My house is old too. I just cleaned up the floor as much as I could and kept an eye on the boys and they were OK. It's fun to watch them learn stairs =)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
