Beardie is going crazy wont stop moving, black beard??

my beardies about 2 years old and the past few days when he wakes up in the morning he freaks out inside the tank. he tries to get out, banging himself against the glass and running back and forth. its a little annoying to be honest with you because its been waking me up lately :shock: sometimes his beard turns black. then usually within an hour or 2 after doing this, he goes to the bathroom, then slowly starts to calm down. WHY is he doing this???

Mine has been doing a lot of pacing back and for, trying to get out of tank also. Even if she has been out for a while, as soon as I put her back she is scratching to get right back out.

but is this normal for him to do before going to the bathroom? it seems like he is uncomfortable or something, then when he lets it out hes fine. right now as we speak, hes jumping all over the place and banging against the glass..

Look at it this way.. we don't defecate first thing, we tend to go, after being up, and moving around a bit.. reptiles can do the same thing..
