beardie in need

i found someon on craigslist will to trade his beardie. we are currently working on a deal and this beardie is in horrible living conditions. hes in a 12 gallon tank with gravel substrate. he also doesnt have a uvb bulb. ive got about 60 dollars saved up and im going to trade for him and try to see what im going to be able to buy right now. if anybody has anything extra that they have that they could ship me plz email me at [email protected] i live in memphis tn. i dont need any decor. ive got a lot of that. i need stuff like fixtures and bulbs maybe a screen hood. im looking for a 40 breeder for him. gonna go get some non adhesive shelf liner also. hopefully ill get a call soon for a job interview. anyway plz help this little guy. heres a link to a pic

i need the tank, uvb, screen hood (unless plastic eggcrate will work), and the fixtures. havent gotten a reply from the guy yet about trading. i wish he would reply already. i want to get him as soon as possible.

oh i have some sea through plastic containers i could use instead of a tank until i can afford a tank. will 70 get me the uvb, a fixture at walmart, some shelf liner, a heat bulb and fixture?

70 is pushing it. You could get a 18" fixture and a uvb for that maybe. You can get a silver dome light fixture at Walmart for bout $10 our 12.

Just don't put a basking lamp on top of plastic egg crate. You will end up with a melted lid. They get very hot. UVB bulb is imperative.

how much are the 18in fixtures at walmart? i can get the reptisun, the heating spotlight, and a new digital thermomter for 47. then i just need the fixture for the reptisun and some non adhesive shelf liner. do i need a top for the plastic container? i was thinking of just clamping it on the top rim. i got a 50 watt and the container is 23inx16 1/4inx12 3/6 so its a little bigger than a 20 gallon long. so should i cut a hole in the plastic top and put the lamp on top like i do for the insect containers or just hang it from the rim? also will the 50 watt be good or should i go for a higher wattage?

I think s 18" fixture is about $12. You could clamp you dome probable. Not sure about the wattage you'll just have to see.

ok. i think ill be able to afford all of it then. ill just have to wait a little while on the tank. or get my grandpa to build a wooden one. he still hasnt texted me back though so i dont even know if hes going to trade it.
