Thank you for your reply. It is weird I posted something similar with no replies, but you got one like 4 minutes later lol. Oh well. Hope you don't mind me bouncing ideas off you.

My concern came from watching YouTube videos yesterday morning. It occurred to me I have never seen beardies eat certain things. The videos I saw beadies younger than mine run right up to a plate and start eating collards, apple bits, and squash. In another they chase and demolish crickets. The one thing I did notice is in all of them there are 2-3 beardies in the same tank, which I thought was a no-no. I wonder if they hunt better with pals when they are young?

I was ok with him eating slowly until the last week when he has turned down the reptiworms. Before he at least ate them once a day, even if it was only 4-6.

I have tried feeding in a separate container, I've tried wounding them, and I've tried letting them run around his viv and then recollecting them. No luck. He only eats out of a "mealworm dish" which I got at the local store that has a curved rim to prevent escape (no meal worms fed of course).

i watched them too and that's how i figured out mine wasn't eating enough! he won't touch anything but waxworms and phoenix worms now only because they look the same. he decided he doesn't want to eat again today too so i had to make him lick up some chicken baby food. i don't understand it but hopefully as he starts growing he'll start eating better on his own. if not i guess it's just survival of the fittest. :/ nothing else i can do. he's gone to the vet, i've tried herbal supplements. he just eats as he sees fit o.o

I'm in the same boat. It is not like my guy looks unhealthy.

Two quick questions. First, do you just use gerber stage 1 chicken? Do you use it straight out of the jar? Second, where is your cage in your house/apartment? In a busy room or a quiter room like a study?

he used to be in the living room with the tv on/dogs and stuff but now he's in the guest bedroom and still acts the same. and as for the food i use the stage 1 chicken & mix it up with pedialyte and pureed greens/crickets all grinded up. it's nasty but it gets him eating. some days i add vitamins or calcium in it when he's not touching the phoenix worms. he acts like a normal beardie he just doesn't like eating -.-
