Beardie has White Tail, rot??

Ok so she shed completely about 5 days ago, I never saw her shed her tail and it looks a little pale compared to the rest of her body. And the last inch or so of it looks a to be darker than the rest, is that normal? PLEASE HELP IM WORRIED HER TAIL IS STARTING TO ROT!

A lot of beardies have a darker tail end than the rest of the tail. The whiteness is an impending shed. You could post a picture, but most likely it is just her natural tail colors and preshed paleness.

When my female got tail rot her end got very black and infected looking. I don't think you have tail rot.

Tail rot begins from an injury (cut or crushed), if your beardies tail hasnt suffered any injuries there then I am sure its probably shed.

NightFury - that's not entirely true. Retained shed can cut off circulation and cause tail rot as well. However, this doesn't sound like tail rot to me.

My female got tail rot from old shed on her tail. It starts out looking black and the end will start shriveling up. I knew daisy had it when the very tip starting getting all red and irritated looking. Luckily I caught it early and she only lost the very tip of her tail. You can treat tail rot with bentadine iodine. But again like daner said it doesn't sound like tail rot.
