I took my girl Dragon to the vet because she was having trouble walking right. He saw that her hands were swollen and said it was gout so he gave me midicam and liquid calcium. She hasn't basked on her own and just hides all day long in the same spot but she's alert she just doesn't want to move. How do I get her to start basking again? When I put her on her basking spot she gets off it within 5 mins and goes to hide.

Remove her hiding places. Use card to make her tank shorter if it is required.

Note: liquid calcium is usually just water with calcium powder in!
You can make your own ;) I use a calcium with added vit D supplement, and make sure she gets plenty of good green veggies.

Thanks for the info on the calcium I wish I would've know that before I payed $20 for barley any liquid calcium lol. But I removed her hiding spots and she is just staying on the cool side where her hide used to be and hasn't moved from there. Also where would I get the black cherry extract I've heard that works.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
