beardie goin crazy after i put a mvb on for 1 hour

Ive never seen him do this yet untill tonight, i put a solarbright r40 160w flood bulb up and he seemed to be loving it for the first hour. the light is about 15in. above him, it isnt too hott at all on him. after the first hour he started goin nuts bobbing his head pretty rapidly. hes never done that yet untill now. i put my old light up after that. Im not sure why he was acting up. is this brand possibly dangerous or something. the guy at the reptile store told me theyve been testing MVB's for a while now and havnt been pleased with any of them untill now. he claims they are very good. but who knows. does anybody know about this brand? or why my dragon went nuts to it?

Maybe with the new light he can see his reflection better in the glass?

maybe so because the mvb bulb does make the tank 5x brighter. do you think hed be healthier with the mvb? i also have a reptisun10.0 that runs along the tank and i have a regular heat bulb which ive been using the whole time and its what i switched back to from the mvb.
