Beardie fell 3-4 feet, please help.

I left the latch on his enclosure slightly open and he pushed the door down and fell. I wasn't home when it happened (sometime in the last 2 hours). I found him hiding on the floor, in a corner under the heat register.

I don't see any external damage, but I'm SO scared about internal/bone damage. What can I do? I can't see the reptile vet until tomorrow unless I drive him 2 hours out of town - if I can even get a hold of the vet.

Is there anyone that can help? I'm killing myself with guilt... what do I do, what do I look for?

Don't sweat it too much. Elliott has done it a number of times. the trick is to just keep an eye on him and look for symptoms of discomfort. The biggest tell tale signs are any noticeable limps or is he black bearding/darker than usual? If none of these show up in the next couple of days, everything is good.

I have had escapees make it down 5 feet with no damage...lol
Just watch for a day or so, but I wouldnt sweat it.
