Beardie eating her own poop ??!

Soooo it’s been about like 3-4 times now that I’ve noticed that my beardie has pooped but the poop isn’t there anymore , like I see the stain & a little bit of left over pooped smudged on the newspaper but the rest is no where in the cage to be found & I don’t know if that’s why my beardie has been acting strange and her beard is like a light to medium grey. Can she get sick from eating her poop or what does she do with her poop? Has this happened to anyone else ? I mean I feed her all the time 20-25 crickets a day & her greens everyday .. I don’t know what’s going on

Hello,

While this isn't a real common problem/issue, it does happen. Most of the time it's due to a
vitamin or mineral deficiency. It isn't real good for them to eat their stool, no. It could make
them sick perhaps.
Are you using a UVB light & if so, what type/brand are you using? How often do you use calcium
supplementation & a vitamin for her?
How old is she?

Are you 100% sure she is actually pooing, ie actually seen her do poos when this happened , rather than just passing urates and no poo , or worse trying to poo with no poo deposited ==> a blockage in her lower GIT (VERY BAD).

Can you feel any hard masses in her tummy and down towards the rear end ? BAD if you can.

What substrate / bedding is she on ?

What is her diet and feeding schedule like ?

Temperatures and how are they being measured ?

I can’t really tell , I just touched her lower stomach & i did feel like little circles I don’t know if that’s normal

Hello,

Where were you feeling her tummy at, lower belly, towards the vent, or on the underneath
side by the hip joint area?
The kidneys are located lower & are uniform on both sides.
