Ummm... that's weird. Slate tile definitely keeps nails trim, as long as it has a rough finish.

Slate tile keeps my guys nails filed down nicely. I've tried trimming their nails but I get nervous and prefer not to do it, so I settled on tiles. And if he poos on it a little chlorohexidine/water solution and a toothbrush scrubbing clean it up just fine.

I use baby clippers, and a small nail file after, but I agree with slate tile and/or rough climbing surfaces

I just use kitty slippers and cut the tip. Rosie will only tolerate two hands maybe then she is done so I do it over several tries.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
