Beardie dragon bites

so usually i feed my beardie crickets and greens and i order the crickets online. Typically when i go to re-order they show up on time but a few times now they have been delayed due to weather so i went to the pet store to find some alternative food for him while the crickets were being shipped and i found these.

basically he loves these things but it makes his poop blue in color. So im wondering if anyone else has tried this and if it's normal? i just decided to try it one day while waiting for the crickets to give him a break from the normal greens i usually go with while we wait on them.

We use bearded dragon bites sometimes at the stores, I often use them for my blue tongue skinks as well. The poop discoloration is normal; something about the gel they use gets processed kind of funny and results in funny shaped and funny colored poops.

I wouldn't use them too often, but in your case as an emergency food while waiting for live feeders to arrive, they're pretty perfect. Check out the Repashy Savory Stew mix as well, or the Rep Cal Pellets - some beardies love the savory stew, some don't, but the Rep Cal Pellets are almost always a big hit.
