Beardie doesnt drink from bowl

She has had a water bowl in her tank from day 1, but I have never seen her drink from it.

I put a bowl of veggies in there everyday and usually add a little water, or will mist her Kale before I give it (I usually put a long stem of Kale in there and jam it in between her branches)

She gets a bath maybe once a week and sometimes drinks from that.

Im wondering if all that is enough hydration?

Her poop is always a good amount of urates, is it odd she wont drink from a bowl?

Not odd at all,,,,most beardies will not drink from standing water. You can give her two or three baths a week. Sounds like she is plenty hydrated though.

My beardie, Al, will not "drink" from his water bowel either. I will usually take a dropper with water in it and sometimes, if I drop water drops on the tip of his nose/his lips, he will "lick his lips" and drink the water.

Once in a blue moon, when I take my finger and "swirl" it around in his water bowel, he will drink then, but I think that's only because he sees the movement of the water and thinks he's going to get something to eat!

I always mist him with a spray bottle several times per day also.

all 4 of my beardies drink from a bowl, weird i know lol but they also get misted every once in a while, get misted veggies every day, and also get baths. i have no life really lol but it is not uncommon or odd that she is not drinking from her bowl. like most will tell you here, many beardies to not drink from standing water, occasionally though, there are some that do

some beardies will drink from the bowl, but not all. it's funny how you got all 4 to do that. lol.

some beardies like to lay in the water dish. but if yours doesn't do anything with it there is no point have the dish in there. use it for food or just take it out.

baths should be given 2-3 times a week for about 20 minutes, mistings will get them to drink the water. try misting outside of the tank since the water will cause the humidity to go up.

i give them baths almost every dayor every other day, so they go in for shorter periods of time. you can train them to poop in their bath so it is easier to clean up after them. for most dragons, once they get used to not going in their tank and having to be around their smelly poo they prefer to go outside (even if that means on the couch). so i just recommend putting them in the bath before letting them run around, lol.

My girl wont drink from a bowl at all so i dont even have a water bowl anymore. She does however like to sit on my lap after eating and i offer her a capful of water and she will drink from that everyday. I usually have to get my finger wet and poke her nose so she licks it then she looks around and finds the cap.

Mine likes water. She swims, she drinks, and then she poops. Usually 10 minutes before I have to leave for work.
