Beardie died all of a sudden

Hey guys. So my bearded dragon butter was very sick from tw day i got her and i ended up not being able to help her so i surrendered her to a reptile rescue (snakes and scales) and they are gonna help her get better and rehome her. But i felt an empty spot in my heart so i bought a new bearded dragon (4 months old) who was purple and named her violet. She seemed to be very healthy, no deformities of any kind, active, ate crickets and the occasional mustard greens. Her tank is 75 gallon, 24' reptisun 10.0 with an powersun mvb 100w bulb in a melamine enclosure with a sliding door. (Prictures i have are before it was complete). No substrate at all. She was about 10 inches from the bulb from her basking spot and it was about 105 - 110 in her basking spot and 95-100 on the other side. Anyways she sleeps with me every night without issues. But last night as i was laying in bed with her, she decided to bite my lip for some reason so i put her in her tank and went to sleep. When i woke up this morning, she was completely lifeless and not breathing. Not the slightest amount of life and half her stomach had stress marks. I was thinking maybe a heart attack but im not sure its possible. I was wondering how its possible that she can go from being active and what im pretty sure is healthy to being dead within 8 hours. Ive only had her for a week and i got her from petco which was a mistake. I just need some closure to know atleast why she died. Its killing me thinking maybe it was my fault somehow but i dont know how thats possible

Like i said, this is a picture of the enclosure before it was finished and that was butter before i surrendered her. Btw, the bulbs are barely a month old so thats not even a possibility

So sorry to hear this. :( A couple things it might have been..1) You rolled on her during sleep or somehow partly smothered her. 2) The tank was too hot [ you said both ends got up to 100 } That's too hot for a beardie to have in all areas of the tank . The cool side should be 75-80. So she may have had heat stress that killed her over night.

If i had rolled on her, i would feel like complete crap. I already had a bond with violet in a week that i had her, but i didnt fall asleep, she was wide awake around 9pm on my stomach while i watched a movie, then she bit my lip, probably thinking my chapped lips were food or something, i have the lights set on a timer to turn off at 7:30 and turn on at 7:30. So the lights were off when i put her in the viv and i woke up about7:45 so the lights had JUST turned on. Im thinkin maybe she was born with a disease because she wasnt the most active dragon but i chalked that up to stress from being moved from her 4 month home and only having her for a week.... i was thinking maybe liver or renal failure. Maybe impaction because she had only pooped twice in a week and was eatingn everyday. But she pooped the day before and it was a nice solid but not too dry with a good amount of urate. She showed literally no signs of being sick aside from her stress marks but i imagined it was from relocation and she was skittish. My wuestion is though, why did she have stress marks on only half her stomach, the left side was entirely covered in stress marks bt the right side was white as can be. I just feel like i need some kind if explanation for this. Im beating myself up over it. But in the case of the heat in the viv, would a bigger ventilation hole fix that? Or how would i lower the heat in the vivs so my other 2 dragons dont get affected. Theyve been in there for over a month and theyre. Oth pretty happy as far as i can tell.

I don't know about the stress marks. If you can't keep the basking spot around 105 and 75-85 on the cool end then you will probably have to add ventilation. Was this dragon housed with other dragons?

Ventilation i will add then. Sounds like a plan to me. I will do that later today, but yes she was housed with others in the petco i got her from and i have 2 other dragons so they would be around each oter often. But she was never attacked or te attacker, she would wave and keep her distance.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
