Beardie Dehydration Help!

Ok, so my bearded dragon still eats very good but theres one thing that worries me a lot. She hasn't been drinking any. I have never seen her drink out of her bowl before and sometimes, she will just sit in it. I give her baths every other day, but she doesn't drink. She has wrinkles on her body whenever she turns or walks is that ok? She eats like a hog, but she never drinks. Ive tried dripping water onto her but she just wiggles around and then she starts to lick, but thats not enough water for her. Im trying to keep her alive, does anyone have any suggestions for her?

If your veges are fresh and you're gutloading your bugs on fresh food and water crystals then she's probably getting plenty of hydration from her food. Do keep offering baths but if she doesn't drink it wouldn't cause me concern on it's own. If her activity level and appetite are up (it sounds like they are) then she's probably OK. Their skin can appear loose or wrinkly because they expand and puff out while they're basking. Having loose skin helps them do that so the skin won't appear tight all the time.

But she doesn't even TRY to drink is that normal.

Sometimes. It just depends on the dragon and how much extra water they need. If you're still concerned about it, you could try drawing her attention with some moving water. Instead of a standing water bowl you could try suspending a cup of water from the top of the tank with a small hole in it designed to slowly drip into a bowl below so it causes movement and ripples which may get her attention.

Please help, is there any type of food that will hydrate her? She licked just a couple of drops today. Is there anything that will hydrate her WELL.

Sure, you could get a feeding syringe and put water in it and drop that on her nose. They're known to stand up on their legs and tilt their head forward during rainstorms and lick the water that drips down their nose. If you want food that is full of water you could offer some green bean or squash baby food through a feeding syringe. They have quite a bit of water in them as well.

Ok she doesnt reAlly drink drops, she only does when she feels like it. And where can i get a feeding syringe from

Tracie sells them (I'd go with 10ml or 3ml) http://www.bug-de-lite.com/Products Page.html I've also gotten them from my vet and I got them from a pharmacy once in a pinch but those were lower quality.

Why do you think she's going to die right away? Can you post some photos of her? I can take a look and see if she appears healthy.

Hello,

How is your dragon this evening? Are her eyes sunken in at all?
Can you also review your tank set up with us, such as the UVB lighting, tank temperatures, supplementation, etc to be sure it is all correct.

Here are the photos. She looks pretty good to me. She looks alert, has a nice full belly and arms. I can't see the fat pads on top of her head but her spine isn't showing which is also good. I'd welcome a second opinion as always but she looks healthy to me. The only issue I see in the photos is that her repti-carpet needs to be washed =)
