Your coil is a 26 watt, which is rare and extremely strong, HOWEVER all coil UVB bulbs seem to directly cause severe eye damage! That's your issue, not the UVB output, that's actually okay, if it was a compact
UVB bulb at 26 watts (there's only one, the EXO Terra 200 is 26 watts and a normal compact bulb), the problem is it's a coil bulb, never ever use a coil bulb...
Most long, 18" or longer UVB tubes are more than adequate for a bearded dragon, if you use a 10.0 T8 then it cannot be blocked by a mesh lid and must be within 6" of the basking spot, but the Reptisun 10.0 T5HO or the Arcadia 12% or 14% T5 tubes are excellent, same wattage as your coil bulb, can sit on top of a mesh lid, and only need replaced once a year... Amazon.com seems to have the best prices on both the T5 tubes and matching fixtures.... IMPORTANT: Be sure to get a long fixture that has a metal reflector in it behind where the tube sits, as this makes tube UVB lights much more effective than a compact
UVB bulb, because they reflect UVB and UVA light throughout the tank.
Usually with eye damage from coil UVB bulbs it will slowly resolve itself after the bulb is turned off, and typically using a saline-only eyedrop twice a day also helps speed up the process. Just be sure to not use any coil bulbs again, not a
UVB bulb or a Basking Bulb.
