Beardie breathing question

So, I saw a video of someones beardie, basically breathing, chest expanding and contracting and everyone replied and said it looked like an upper respiratory infection.

My question is, are you not suppose to see your beardie breathing at all? When my girl is basking, you cant see her breathing, but if I let her out, or put her in a bath and she swims, then, you can see her chest filing up and then out.

is that normal?

It's normal to be able to see them breathe. Sometimes they breathe very slowly (Especially while they're sleeping) so it's difficult to see. Respiratory infections are usually accompanied by excess mucous or bubbles around the mouth among other symptoms.
