I was just wondering about their underbelly. I notice that it changes from white, to a pattern. or the other way around.

I thought that maybe it is a pattern while they are "cold" and as they warm up it goes white? but then I will notice the "pattern" even during the day so now I am not sure. Does anyone know?

they are called stress marks they can be caused by a number of reasons like when the are cold they darken up to absorb more light and if it constantly "darkened" he may be stressed out

They are mostly always white, but I have noticed the "stress marks" from time to time and have always wondered about them. Thank you for letting me know.

it should be fine my beardie always has a major case of stress marks and a puff beard in the morning lol
