Beardie ate some woodchips (I think)

Sometimes I buy my Zeus some waxworms as a treat. I get them from Petco and they come in very tiny what I think are wood chips. Not sure though. Anyways, I had him on my lap and the container next to me and I was feeding him one by one. Apparently it wasn't fast enough for him so once he realized where they were coming from, he decided to take off to the container and help himself. Before I was able to take it away out came the tongue and he swallowed a few pieces. Do I need to be worried?

I wouldn't worry too much. I think they'll just pass through without a problem. Offer him some extra water via drops on the nose to keep him hydrated to help things along but I wouldn't worry about it.

Are you sure it's not ground oats or something along those lines? When I buy superworms I had thought in the past it was like saw dust or something as well. But I remember reading somewhere otherwise. Of course I can't remember what I was told it was :roll:

Edit: Wheat bran! That's what it was. Do you think it might actually be wheat bran?
