Long story short, the cardboard in my cricket container got soggy and broke apart. Very tiny pieces may be eaten by crickets or fall into tank where beardie gets them. Will that cause impaction or health issues? What should I do?

Edit: to clarify, the cardboard is soft and sobgy (think like how paper gets soggy and breaks apart even after it dries) and definitely smaller than the space between his eyes. My concern is about it building up inside him or tearing up his guts as it goes through him

Hi there, if it happened a couple times it shouldn't be a problem but now that you know about it you should just make sure it doesn't happen anymore.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
