Beardie ate a carpet fibre ??

Hi! So— I’ve been trying to give my beardie a chance to climb out of his tank once in awhile and I have a large carpet in my room. Every time I take him out, he pulls on the carpet and tries to eat it. At first I wasn’t concerned, as he wasn’t pulling out fibres but now I can’t let him down on my carpet. Today I made the mistake of thinking that maybe he’d stopped with his little charade but he pulled so hard on the carpet that he grabbed a carpet fibre, and before I could grab it he’d already swallowed it.

I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. I’m so scared he’ll get impacted and I can’t do anything now that he’s swallowed it. Obviously I won’t let him go on the carpet again but what can I do to help him pass the carpet fibre? PLEASE HELP.

He will be perfectly fine, dont worry about it
They can easily pass something like that. Wont even notice it going through.

He’s been trying to eat my carpet for ages— I didn’t think he’d really eat it !

Same, for some reason my carpet must look like a forest of worms lol!

Luckily as they have gotten older, they have cared less and less for the carpet worms haha.
