beardie areobics? lol

well this morning i fed my 16 day old beardie (Godzilla) his crix and in the middle of chasing them down he stopped under the uvb light and sat down with his tail straight back.. his back legs looked like he was doing the splits, and he had his front legs on the ground.. then he raised one leg and kinda did a windmill thing then put that leg down and raised the other front leg and did the same..did this over and over agian until he spotted a cricket and chased it down and ate it..

any one ever seen this or heard about it before? i thought it was cute but also kinda wierd and didnt know if anything was wrong?

my wife just called me and said that now godzilla has been acting wierd because he is just laying on the floor when he only does that occasionally when he is sleeping and she said he is acting totally different than he was yesterday.. hmm any ideas?

That is hand waving. Babies will do that a lot. It is something a Bearded Dragon will do to show that it is submissive to another beardy, or sometimes to other animals. Our babies did it to us a lot the first weeks. Then they figured out we where huge, but didn't want to harm them. Now that they are older they don't wave at all.
