beardie and tracks

hi all for some reason my beardie always sits on the glass tracks all day long. he sometimes doesnt move from there the whole day? my basking spot temerature is 100f and i measure with a temp gun. hes been doing it more and more lately. i know the temperature is lower there but why doesnt he just go to the cool side of the tank? for the past 3 weeks hes been sitting there not moving, he only stays on his basking rock if i put him there and even after that after a half hour hell move back. could it be a uvb thing i have the uvb 12 - 13 inches from the floor? thanx.

What do you mean by glass tracks? What kind of UVB do you have? If its a fluorescent bulb then he needs to be able to get 6"- 8" away from it.

how old is your BD? how long have you had your pooper?

hes nearly 5 months old ive had him probably a little under 3 months
