Beardie activity flexibility

I noticed most people on here talk about their beardies going to sleep around 8 or 9pm and getting up early in the morning and I was wondering if they adjust to your sleep/awake schedule or if they do what they want. The reason I ask is that I work 2nd shift (2:30pm-10:30pm) and I was wondering if they will kind of adjust to your schedule and stay up a little later at night and sleep a little later in the morning. I would like to be able to see my beardie when I get home from work when I do finally get one.
