Bearded dragons and germs/bacteria

Not sure what forum this belongs to, but I have a random question:

So I let my beardie walk on the ground and sometimes when she's on my shoulders, she'll jump on and go on the couch. I know to wash my hands/arms and sanitize after handling her, but what about the surfaces she explores on? Do I need to wash the top of my couch now or scrub my floor? What are the chances of her natural bacteria/germs transferring and staying there? Am I just being paranoid?

The key is to make sure she doesn't track poop anywhere. Clean her up if she has gotten poop on her before you let her roam. Otherwise, unless you have an immuno-deficiency or really little kids that still stick everything in their mouths, you should be fine. I just wouldn't put her in the kitchen or where you eat!

Whew okay! I just don't wanna constantly clean and sanitize more than I have to. As of now, my beardie is on my keyboard, so I'm thinking, do I need to clean that too? Haha. I think I have a traveling rascal on my hands...

@daner923....I have a question if my beardie poops on my floor should I scrub the area down with soap and water or just pick up the poop and try not to smear it? And if I do smear it should I scrub it down with soap?

I would definitely wash anything she poops on.
