So my bearded dragon won't eat except for vegetables I had feed him. I have no idea what the temps are Bc I'm pretty sure my digital one is screwed up. But i have 1 100 watt halogen and a 50 watt halogen along with a fluorescent bulb and a regular light bulb. He has his reptisun UVB bulb that I got a few months ago and I water him down daily and water his veggies too. He also hides more. Any ideas?

how old is the uvb tube if more then six mouths old its got no benefits for your dragon. I would recommend to get your temps checked just in case thats the problem could be to warm if hiding out. For now i would only use one bulb to see if that helps and lowers temp a bit. If you mean you bath your dragon thats good daily but water down don't do that could raise humidity in your enclosure. I would really get the temps checked and when you know there good you can offer different feeders all dragons have there favorite. Just like mine won't eat reptiworms was a wast of 15 bucks. hope this helps

It's hasn't been 6 months. I got it in July. Also he was doing this before I added the second bulb. I added the bulb today. Where can I get a thermometer to check the cage? My digital thermometer showed it being 95 one minute and 85 the next. Also I spray him. Not his enclosure just him.

Do you have a walmart where you live. They have an Accurite brand for around $10. Petsmart and petco also usually have them. You really need to know what the temps are,,,they are very important for the health of your dragon.

The reptisun is good then sometimes when there over six months effects the dragons. I really think the second isn't needed unless raiseing the basking temp. usually walmart has the digital probes to check temps and work very well. temp guns are the best so you don't have to wait for lights to be on for a hour or a hour and a half to check the temps. I use the temp gun to check the bask temp and the cool end floor and always happy with the results. you just point it two inches away i usually get as close as i can. digital probes work well i used to tie one under the basking bulb and another taped at the cool end. I would only mist if a shed is in process. but usually if its to warm they stay at the bottom of enclosure and hide as well. you notice any mouth opening? How old is your dragon and if you could provide some information about your setup and feeding i could be more of some help.

look up accurite on walmarts website and see if the product is available at the town and store you go. Then look again they will provide you a number that you can give to a walmart staff for where it is at the store. I did this with easy liner a few weeks ago worked well.

I was told to mist daily on here to keep him hydrated. He does open his mouth some times but not constantly. He's almost a year old. I feed crickets with calcium and d3 daily with a sprinkle of vitamins. I feed in a separate container a well

At Wal-Mart, they're by the outdoor thermometers. In my store, that's in the aisle with the light bulbs.

If you mist dragons don't get water though there skin. its vent or by mouth they get water and water from feeders and greens as well. does your dragon have pure white urates and non watery poop. if the stools are pure white and not very watery thats a good sign of being hydrated. do you sprinkle vitamins everytime or just twice a week 1 feeding those two times. Keep a eye on the temps when the mouth you notice opens could be to warm.

He hasn't pooped in a while but it's a combination o wet poo and hard poo. I sprinkle it in 2 a week. I'll see if I can find a thermometer.

The poop doesn't sound good hows the smell and does it look brown and white. watery sometimes is to much water in diet like if you were feeding romaine or lettace. I heard members here use the zoomed digital thermometer and should be easy to find at petsmart or petco. I had some thouble as well finding the digital thermometer at walmart. So I got a temp gun online with one i was recommended and always been happy with it.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
