Bearded dragon won’t eat veggies

I just rescued a beardie from a less than ideal living situation. They said he was around 4 years old and they have had him since he was a baby. They also said after he turned a year they stopped buying UVB lights Because they “weren’t an absolute necessity” and he was done growing. they have only ever fed him freeze dried meal worms and red pellets Because apparently he doesn’t like anything else. First thing I notice when I get baby home is that he is actually a she! She eats live bugs just fine even though it was made clear to me from the previous owners she wouldn’t touch live bugs. So she has an Appetite but My biggest problem is she still won’t eat any veggies. I was told they didn’t feed them to her Because they couldn’t constantly be picking up fresh veggies so she would get kale as a treat on occasion. I know this is something they need to be started on when there young so I’m not sure what I can do to encourage her to eat them.

Get some BSFL and add them to the salad as many as you want to use - also get some super worms meal worms and some horn worms -- use the worms to lure her to the bowl - add them in front of her and feed first thing in the morning -- get rid of the pellets -- I would add some dubia roaches to her diet as well - you will need a bowl like this for the insects/ worms
