bearded dragon weight

should a bearded dragon be a specific weight depending on its age and size? just browsing through the net about what a female bearded dragon should weigh. and a few answers ive found have been that they are maybe around 13-14" but they only weigh maybe just over 300 grams

but mine is 15" and she is 494 grams. she is about 14 months old. and she has put on 148 grams in 4 months.

Hi there....weight can vary according to genetics/build of the dragon but a 13-14 " would be overweight at 300 grams. Unless they have nipped tails, which would give a false overall actual body size. A 13-14" should be in the 140 -200 gram range. And at 15" a decent range would be around 170 -300 grams, maybe a little more unless the tail is nipped, then the dragon would be bigger over all, just lacking some of it's tail.

she is missing some of her tail. maybe 1" of it. i just weighed her again before and she is now 514 grams
