:shock: With as much as it sounds like you have spent on getting new lizards (now 5..working on another one) it would be cheaper for you to get one that is appropriate age, and with appropriate equipment to begin with, especially since you are considering getting a 6th. Otherwise it makes no sense to even get one..

I have the right equipment the deaths were not caused due to equipment. it was obvious this one was too young.

Unfortunately, the spiral UVB's are not good ones and won't prevent metabolic bone disease or other health issues including eye problems and loss of appetite so his appetite can certainly be affected by the spiral UVB. I highly recommend that you get a Repti-SUN 10.0 strip fluorescent tube asap or an Arcadia brand bulb. Beardies don't do well at all under a coil UVB bulb.

yes, my mother said something about a mercury vapor bulb how`s that sound. And also I contacted a completely different breeder who offered me a 9 month old yellow Citrus with a tail nip I have already seen him in person and should be picking him up tomorrow or the day after.

Mercury vapor bulbs are good. They provide UVB as well as UVA so you don't need an additional UVB light. You should keep them about 12'' from the basking area so they may not put enough heat out to get the basking area to 100-110 so you may need to add a halogen flood light or basking light as well to provide proper temperatures.
