Hello all!
This is my first post after using this forum for months making sure my beardie is healthy. Her name is Iccarus, she is about 8 months old (I think?) and healthy when I brought her for a checkup to the vet (an exotic animal vet specifically).
My main concern is I recently moved her from a 20 gallon starter tank they sell at petco (I bought other stuff for lighting, just got the tank there) to a 120 gallon zen habitat 4x2x2. So far, I’ve been really happy with the tank. However, the first 3-4 days she was in it, she would run along the sides and front like she was trying to get out. I would take her out and let her explore outside for a bit, but that didn’t help the issue.
Today and yesterday however, she has been sitting on her basking spot and just relaxing there with her head on something and limbs relaxed, like she was about to nap. I wanted to make sure my setup is okay, or if this is normal behavior, and that it’s not causing any issues (I’m worried the bigger tank isn’t set up correctly because I was used to working with the smaller one).
Here are the setup specs:
1 10.0 coil UVB hanging about 5-7 inches above her basking spot,
a reptisun 18 inch T8 bulb about 6-8 inches above the frontish length of the tank,
a ceramic bulb on each side for at night,
Two basking lights on the hot side with dimmer switches so they don’t get too hot (temps got to 120 when I had them both on fully),
2 Digital temp probes,
Humidity gauge
The basking temp is 105-115, ambient hot side is around 80-85 and ambient cool side is about 80-85 as well. I do have the UVB coil bulb and the heat lamp on different sides, and she sits under the UVB coil all the time (which is why I’m concerned: is the heat just for heat AND light, or is ambient heat enough for her to digest properly etc)
I’ll attach a picture of the setup too:

The second pic is of her “laying there”. Is that okay? It’s mostly the behavior change that is my concern.
