Bearded dragon randomly acting strange/angry, kinda worried?

At 7:30 this morning when his lights were still off he randomly freaked out and started running around his tank. I tried to take him out, and he got very angry, angrier than I've ever seen him, so I put him back.

It's now 11:30 and he's still acting like this and I don't know what could have upset him or caused it - thoughts?

His scales are kinda dark and he keeps puffing up at me, but sometimes hell calm down for a few minutes and seem normal, only to go right back to this behavior. What is wrong?? I don't think it's his tank - this started randomly when his lights were still off and he should've been sleeping..

Night mare ?

I know of a breeder who had a bunch of hatchies asleep on a rug near a heater , one suddenly woke and dashed off and hid, was really freaking out and heart racing and breathing hard, took her a while to calm the little scared dragon down. Only explanation was it had very scary dream and woke up terrified.
