Bearded dragon "puberty"

Hi.
So I know you aren't supposed to keep two beardies in the same tank but mine are, I believe they're both males and right up until a week or 2 ago, they were fine they never bothered each other.

Now for the past 2 weeks whenever Rachkie (1yr 7months old) glass dances, Nelson (I think he's around 9 months?) puffs his beard up, it goes black then he attacks Rachkie by trying to bite his tail (missing most of the time)

I just don't know why he is doing this or what I can do to stop it.. I can't afford another tank because it'll cost too much for electricity and they are fine 95% of the day until Rachkie glass dances, will I have to seperate the tank up?

I NEED HELP.

Most likely you will have to separate the tank, they may have been fine when they were younger but now since they are getting older they are going to be more territorial and need there own space.

You have to seperate them. If you can't afford to house them in different enclosure then you will need to re-home one. That may seem rude but we all care about our Beardies here and do not want to see anyones get hurt.

I've just found out that one is a male and one is a female. We are separating them as we do not want babies. They haven't fought for about 3 days now..
