Bearded dragon on furniture?

I've heard a lot about bearded dragons having salmonella. I love holding my bearded dragon everyday. I wash my hands before and after holding her. I was wondering if having bearded dragon on furniture, for example, beds, couches, etc. is it unsanitary ?

by the way, you can always take in a poo sample to your vet and have them do a test to see if your dragon has parasites or any other problems. It is cheaper and less stressful for your pet to just take in the poop and most vets don't mind if you drop it off. Just call first before showing up with your offering! :D

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
