Bearded dragon not eating vegetables and closing one eye

A few days ago my Bearded dragon started to close his left eye, I did research and nothing was wrong with his UV Then a day later he stopped eating his Vegetables (Still eats live prey) And only eats around 2 pieces of apple then walks off Any help?

Hi. How old is he and how long have you had him? Also can you post a picture of his set up?

Hi There,

Thanks for getting back to me. I have had him for about 1 year now and this is the first issue he has had. So he is eating happily enough, is full of energy, eats live prey (fed every 2 days) and veges(only a few mouth fulls a day), has a new UV light (updated each 6 months), gets out in the sun on most days, but his eye is closed most of the time. It does open and there are no scars, irritations or swellings that I can see. I have added a picture of his setup.

We do not have many reptile vets in this country, and this has been going on for about a week. He has also just finished shedding.

Hi. What kind of uvb? Coil/compact or tube brand? Is he shedding? Maybe skin in the eye?

Hi There,

Its an Reptileone UVB. At the moments he's on the window ledge chilling out in the sun and is now fully eating all his vegies and live prey. His eye is still semi closed he has just stopped shedding. I'll bath him today and see if this helps. We have also changed his home layout and added 2 more places for him to hide under, even though he likes sleeping in weird places!

Can't remember which length but I have always got the exact same one since I have had him and have had no issues. Can't get Arcadia over this side of the world..sigh
