A local pet shop gave me this tip:
I feed my beardie, Hige, his crickets in a washing up basin
(the plastic kind that inserts into your kitchen sink) within his tank mid to late morning - when he's done feeding he jumps out and goes of to bask. If theres only a few crickets left i usually just squish their heads with a pair of feeding tongs/tweezers so that they're dead pretty quick and then put them onto his salad. Later in the day he'll get hungry and go on the 'hunt', see the crickets atop his greens and go to eat them - often they're stuck to a leaf and he'll take that too and then as if to say
'Oh. Thats alright!' he'll carry on munching them. If i don't put the crickets on top of his salad he'll usually just ignore it since nothing really draws him to it.
I also experimented and found the greens he loves such as basil, butternut squash and dandelion then mixed then in with other healthy ones. He often goes for the ones he loves but cant help accidentally getting others too!
