Bearded dragon not eating for 5 days

Hi everyone,

my bearded dragon Sherbert has stopped eating for 5 days now. He's done this before when we were off on vacation and he wouldn't eat with his sitter, but since I've returned he's been eating fine. But the past 5 days he's stopped eating entirely.

Setup:
50 Gallon Tank
Heat lamp: bright white 70 watt flood light (heats up surface 100-110 degrees Fahrenheit)
UVB: Reptisun 10.0 T5 florescent tube
Both lights 10 inches away from basking spot
Cool side 80-85 degrees and hot side 85-90
Substrate: non-adhesive shelf liner

I feed him roaches and what I usually do is let them run in a straight line in front of him and he'll go catch it and eat it. He sometimes skips a day eating which is normal, he's about a year and 2 months now, but no matter how many roaches walk in front of him, he won't look at it even if I lower his head. He's still active but just not hungry, no signs of parasites either.

Update: He ate crickets today. It's good news but now I'm wondering if he'll eat the roaches ever again, will have to try today.

Cool side 80-85 degrees and hot side 85-90

Hello. I know you've had him for over a year now, but the only thing I can think of is maybe his basking area is too low. Beardies bask in between 90-105/95-110 degrees. Does his hot/basking side ever reach up to those temperatures?

Hello. Sorry for the late response but yes, his basking surface does reach over 100 degrees. The area itself does not reach up to those temperatures. He poops regularly so I assume he's able to digest.

Also an update: I'm able to trick him into eating roaches by holding a cricket over a roach, and he'll only see the cricket and try to eat it, but instead he misses and eats the roach instead. This works so far but it's kinda weird.
