Hello, my bearded dragon just laid eggs. I did not see this coming and have nothing prepared. I was about to turn off the lights and went to take her out of her log which I found was weird and there was an egg! I have no sand, and really no clue on what to do. I read the threads about it but I am panicking and need help. All I have is coconut fibre for my pixie frog right now and it looks like tommorow I will be snowed in. Would I be able to use this and do the same as with the sand? Is it alright to hold her as she is doing this in order to move her to the coconut fibre? What heat should she be at while this is happening? Seeing as this is already at her bed time I am a tad bit worried. Any fast help is much appreciated as I am panicked and do not know what to do. Thanks

The coco fiber will do in a pinch, if you have a plastic tote just wet the coco until it can be somewhat firmly packed, but not at all wet or soggy. Pile it on one side about 10" high and start a tunnel for her. Keep the plastic tote in a warm room , and put a heat lamp over it, if it's at about 80 -85 F it's fine. If you don't have a plastic storage tote, then find a sturdy cardboard box that can fit in one end of her cage+ fill that with the dampened coco fiber. It can be a large shoebox or something similar, and keep the lid on but cut a hole for her to get in + out. It will be messy, but that's about all you can do.

Hi AHBD, thanks for the reply. I went ahead and got the coconut fiber ready and she laid a bunch more eggs. 21 total have come. She finished at around 1:30am so I turned off her lights around that time. When we woke up there was one more egg that we took out right away and I think she is doing better, a bit more back to her usual self. Right now I took out the tub with coconut fiber I made and put her back to what shes used to. I got her to eat a chunk of salad and now shes just basking, doing her normal routine of warming up. I will try and feed her a good meal of dusted superworms once she seems ready. Ill keep this thread updated on what happens!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
