Bearded dragon is acting CRAZY

So, my little baby Tango has lived with me for about three weeks now. He/she is 5.7 inches long and just recently has been acting absolutely CRAZY. He started with the waving.. I know it is common for young beardies to wave at their reflection or at their human or others, but he just stopped hunting for crickets and just started waving non stop.. Then he was looking around like a mad man and would run around the cage like a spaz! Right now, he is in his little tree looking around, but he was earlier jumping around (and ignoring his crickets) frequently flipping over onto his back because he lost balance trying to climb the glass. I read that if he is a male, it could be some beardie puberty, but my last bearded dragon never had that.. we aren't sure about his gender as of now, he is really small and young, so I don't know why he has been acting like a lunatic lately.. Any ideas..? Is he okay?

*Edit; I read somewhere that the beardies can actually sense incoming weather? We just got an awful storm and potential flash flood in Houston, so could that be a possibility to why he's been so insane? He has done that before, now that I think about it, right before the tornado warning came in and he was in the little bunker with my sister running around like crazy and trying to climb out of his little container. (Houston weather has been sucking lately.)

It could be him reacting to his reflection. I would try covering the sides and back if not already done.

I second that from Kyleena.

He may still be experimenting and figuring out his environment. Both my dragons have the back wall covered, and one side of each of their tank faces a wall with decor blocking the view, leaving a view from the front an 1 side.

My first dragon as a baby used to follow his crickets and wave to them before eating them... They're just quirky and learning nothing wrong with him
