Welcome to the forum! Scorch is a lovely Beardie. My suggestion is to read everything you can about their care, and then decide what works best for you and your schedule/lifestyle...there is a lot of info out there, and it can be overwhelming ( and sometimes conflicting!) but the care guides on this site are trustworthy...if you have specific questions that come up (and they will!) dont be afraid to post the question on this site, because the people here are very helpful, and also knowlegeable! Everyone here is very interested in the well being of all Beardies! And I have not read any replies that were impolite or snooty...some web sites have that problem, but this one is very friendly and caring.
Beardies love to be nurtured. They can snuggle, hug, play, and have a remarkable ability to express their wants and needs...it may take you a while to learn each others "language", but it is worth it. I was surprised to discover that a reptile could have such a cuddly personality--but he did not start to be very cuddly until around nine months old; until then, it was all about the food!
