Bearded dragon gaping question?

Hello, is it ok for my bearded dragon to be gaping on the warm side of her tank? She is not basking. But, on the warm side and close to it. Just low to the ground. Is this ok? Or should she only be gaping on the basking? Her temps are a little warmer than usual right now. But not by much. Also, for the past few days she has been gaping on the basking in the afternoon a few times a day.
