bearded dragon extreme fall

a few months ago i took my bearded dragon outside on my deck to get some fresh air and because it was warm. well he bit my hand and ran across the deck and jumped off. it was a huge fall maybe 8-10 feet. he landed on concrete and sort of slow ran off into the bushes.
we could not find him after about half an hour so we gave up. we kept checking next day. about 3 days later there was an emailabout a bearded dragon found. we got him back miraculously and i could not believe it.
we fed him and took care of him but the crazy thing is the only noticeable change was that his beard was black, but he was probably really stressed.
we let him run around and bathed him and nothing was wrong at all from what we could tell.
the only thing noticeable that has lasted now is that he does not go to the bathroom very often(once every 5 days :| ) he still runs around and seems very happy and eats a lot.
please give me any advice, or what could be happening now, or what could happen in the future. thank you

It's good that he was moving after the fall. He probably didn't break bones or if so they are probably healed by now. My concern would be internal bleeding but if that was severe it would have likely caused more issues by now. Keep an eye out for blood in his poop which could indicate internal bleeding. An x-ray would help reveal broken bones. As I said though after all this time, they are probably OK now so it's probably not worth the cost. Does he still have a black beard? That usually indicates distress, especially if it's for an extended period of time.

I wouldn't worry too much about poop frequency, especially if he is active/alert and eating. You could offer him some water by dripping it on his nose to ensure he is well hydrated. You could even include a couple of drops of olive oil to help keep things moving along, but since he has been going, just less frequently, I'd just offer some extra water along with his normal diet for now. I'm glad you got him back!

i don't know if I'm responding correctly but he does not have a black beard anymore and i always spray his mouth with water and like drip water on his mouth so he can lap it up. i also got a pretty big but shallow water container so he can go in it and hopefully drink some water. thanks for the help .

keep an eye on him and his "habits" , he may have sustained organ damage.

No more untethered visits onto your deck for him .... you were very lucky.
