So my bearded dragon is now about 3 years old. She has never drank water before, I've always just misted her each morning. I tried the droplets on snouth to get her to lick she just never has.

Yesterday for the first time, after like 2 months of jumping around ripping thermometers off hte walls pulling on UV bulb climbing everywhere, she pulled up the repti-carpet and hid under there. This morning there was about 12-13 eggs so I googled it and saw they're infertile.

I decided to put her in a bath about 10 mins ago and for the first time she put her mouth/nostrils in the water and started drinking it! When she did this though:

1. Her entire snout including nostrils was under, will she remember she needs to breathe? I pulled her head up after she didn't come up for air for like 15 seconds of drinking.
2. She flattened her body BIGTIME when she was drinking, like... pulled her entire stomach in it was very strange.
3. Also I heard they get hungry after popping out eggs but she closes her eyes (the sign she doesn't want) when I put roaches up to her. She ussually freaks out when she sees the red cup i feed the roaches out of.
Is this normal?

It sounds like she was quite thirsty. I would try dripping water on her nose from a syringe or dropper and see if she licks it up. She probably needs calcium rich foods too so I would offer kale and collard greens and see if she'll dig into those. black soldier fly larvae are probably a good thing to offer now as well since they are calcium rich.

Hello,

It does sound like she was really thirsty! Our female has flattened her body out like that &
stood up really funny to drink water. LOL They are quite entertaining.
She definitely needs some good quality food & calcium after laying, bless her. I hope she is
done laying. Has she calmed down now after laying?
Are you using a good UVB light for her?

Let us know how she is doing.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
