Bearded dragon documentaries

I did a quick look on google but there isn't really anything. YouTube is just flooded with captive bread dragon unboxings feeding videos and what not. I did find one video that was posted under this same topic from 2008 tho but the video is very short.

I hadn't seen that one, and it is so cool to see them in their natural environment! How docile was that male at the end? Too cool to be a meany! Thanks for posting...

Wow, that video was great!!!!

I also noticed something cool that reminded me of a post I made not too long ago about how some zoos house beardies in pine needles and scrub. Not sand.

This video just goes to prove to people they are not living in deserts and are not strictly ground lizards. They are in forests and climbing trees.

I would love to see more wild beardie info and videos. I think such info would help with captivity.

And wow...that yellow mouth. I have never seen a captive beardie with that! Has that been bred out in favor of the colors, patterns, and scale types we see in CB beardies?

It looks like it it probably a coastal/eastern bearded dragon. (P. barbata) which is a separate species. They have some physical differences (like the yellow mouth lining) and are not very common in the us pet trade.

I'm sure if someone could come up with that yellow mouth in CB they would be legeidary and also very pricey. I never knew beardies could run so fast.

That explains the mouth color.

I guess we never see them run that fast because they have no reason to fear us
