Bearded dragon constantly digging - but no eggs?!

Hi, I have a 18 month old female bearded dragon and she has not been eating live food for 3 days now. We took her to a reptile vet and she treated her for worms, she has another two treatment to go, however I inspected her feces once we got home under a microscope and saw no signs of worms. She has been digging allot today and some yesterday. I made here a compost lay box under some cork, so it private. She has gone in there once, but she is more interested in digging up her substrate. We have also give her 1ml of unsweetened apple sauce, just in case she was compacted, however she has been pooping fine. I have give her two baths a day to help if she is compacted or if he has eggs. It hasn't helped so far (of my knowledge). Any other ideas? Many thanks! Zack and roxi (my beardie!) /\---/\

I recently experienced something similar and thought she is looking to lay eggs. Turns out she was actually looking for a place to brumate, which she is doing now for 4 weeks. She may have been born in California but seems the natural Australian clock is still ticking as it is winter in Australia right now.
