bearded dragon broken nail

hi, I just discovered my bearded dragon broke one of his claws recently. He still has it this morning and I don't know what caused it to break off. I don't see any blood. He's still running and walking normally. I read some source online saying that if the nail is being cut too deep, it might affecting the dragon's nerves....will the nail grow back again? I'm worry that this will become a serious problem for my dragon...
any advice and suggestions are greatly appreaciated :?

Hello,

Since there was no blood, then hopefully it didn't go deep enough into the quick. A broken nail usually grows back as long as the entire nail bed wasn't ripped out.
It doesn't seem to affect him though?
Do you have reptile carpet in the tank? He could have caught it in between his rock or log possibly to have broken it.
You can get some neosporin to apply to it, if you have some to try & ward off any infection.

nope...it doesn't seem to affect him
I use Feline Pine cat litter for substrate. And yes I do have some logs and wood branches...so those might have been the cause...
You meant the neosporin for human use? the one I have on hand is polysporin...Is that safe for bearded dragon?
