Bearded Dragon Breathing Heavy/Breathing Sound

Hi I went to the Hamburg Reptile show and Picked up my second beardie =) A proven female. She now is breathing weird as In puffing out and sometimes slightly opening her mouth for a little puff or hiss of air. Heres a video that could help.

I think she may be a bit stressed out. Adjustment normally will take a couple of weeks. What's your temps on the hot and cool side? How far away from the heat is she? What uvb are you using? Is she in the viv by herself?

she lives in there with another proven female . I m getting them a bigger viv tommrow a 75 gallon and the temps are 101 F and the cool are 85 F. the UVB is a 10.0 something.

It may be dominance issues between the new and the old. The new one or both of them may be trying to dominate the other one. Also, what brand of uvb is it and how old?

I'd separate the girls for safety & health reasons. Maybe they could spend time out of the vivs together, but I doubt housing them is a good idea at all.

Definately a bad idea to house them together. There are tons of threads on here with horror stories about dragons being housed together. Put one in the new 75 gallon you are getting and keep the smaller one in the old tank.
