Bearded dragon bath

My bearded dragon is a baby and I want to give him a bath because he's shedding. He is only about a week old sense I got him but is it still okay to give him a bath after a week of him with me? He is very nice and we have a strong bond so it shouldn't be bad but any comments?

Suggest that you keep you hand under your BD for comfort during the bath and use your other hand to gently pour drops of water on them. Try to keep the water out of their eyes.

I think it should be fine. I'd had Rygel less than a week when I first gave him his bath. I strongly advise you use a small tub - something shoebox sized would be ideal, put paper towel on the bottom for grip, and make sure the water is the right temperature. I made it a little too cold when I first bathed Rygel (about 90) so he didn't much like it. He prefers around 98. I definitely second SDragons advise to support him underneath - Rygel is much calmer when I do this. On our first bath attempt I had a big rock in the water for him to hold on to, but he seems much happier and stays still when I support him instead.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
